Professor: Vanessa F. A. Neves
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Brazil). She is currently serving as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Education (2022–2026). She coordinates the research group Estudos em Cultura, Educação e Infância (Studies in Culture, Education, and Childhood – https://enlacei.com.br/). At present, she is leading a longitudinal and ethnographic research programme entitled Cultural Development in Collective Contexts, which aims to contrast the lived experiences of infants and young children across different early childhood education settings. This programme is grounded in the theoretical and methodological frameworks of Cultural-Historical Psychology and Ethnography in Education. It encompasses a range of research initiatives at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
